Llangennith Beach
Llangennith, the west facing point of Rhossili, is an amazing stretch of beach with stunning views. This beach is popular with everyone, and declared by ?The Observer?, as the best place to learn to surf in Britain, Llangennith has consistent wave break, and is particularly popular with surf schools and longboarders.
Probably one of the best beach breaks in the UK, certainly in Wales, Llangennith attracts waves as big as 12ft in the winter months. Although rare in the summer, when it?s good it?s very good and on a hot day with good waves, Gower surfing doesn?t get much better. For a current surf report check out our friends over at GowerLive.
Nearby is PJ?s surf shop with boards and suits for hire, Eddie?s Cafe, and local pub, The King?s Head.
For accommodation in Llangennith why not try College House?
