The Mermaid in Mumbles is situated some 300 metres from the centre of the village near the boat slip ways. The interior is very nicely laid out with a clean look split into the main restaurant and bar area. I've been to several theme evenings at the Mermaid and it has a great atmosphere (if not a little loud). The presentation of the food at the Mermaid is of the highest quality from a chef that has cooked for heads of state including the Queen. having just read some of the comments I must agree with the latter writer that my CJ's experience was great. A week night is not so busy there is music but no DJ my food was excellent Freshly made fish cakes tasty salad and well presented. They must be doing something right as the business has been going for 30 years! gets my vote every time....visit CJs | review CJs

we have been on many occaision and have always had excellent food and excellent service. The Friday night DJ is awesome and the group we always go with ages vary from 15-55 and everyone loves it. My suggestion to the previous comments are maybe a more positive approach to life you might just find some things enjoyable. Give it a try. ...visit CJs | review CJs
