The Mermaid in Mumbles is situated some 300 metres from the centre of the village near the boat slip ways. The interior is very nicely laid out with a clean look split into the main restaurant and bar area. I've been to several theme evenings at the Mermaid and it has a great atmosphere (if not a little loud). The presentation of the food at the Mermaid is of the highest quality from a chef that has cooked for heads of state including the Queen. 100%Went with friends as a birthday celebration, from starters through to main meal and desert, absolutely first class, service and staff fantastic, would recommend to anyone.

84%A lovely location with views across Swansea bay provide an enjoyable location for eating which was equally matched by the standard of the food. Best of all was the friendlyness and quality of service. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

92%The GEM of the Mumbles strip. Food,service & cleanliness were of the highest order; the only blot on the landscape being the 'services'. One urinal,one cubicale and one soggy brown towel. Otherwise a top class restaurant

100%We had our celebration meal here for our daughters graduation ,we walked in at 2pm for a table of 5, they were more than willing to seat us,we had a fantastic meal which difted into the afternoon. Two of us are on a gluten free diet and this was not a problem.Very highly recommened!Lovley meal.

92%Went there to try the food to see if it would be a good location for taking our families for a 60th b'day party and was not disapponted. Really enjoyed the lamb and the chocolate fondant. Will definately be bringing our party of 14 here in May. It was a really relaxing atmosphere.
